This keyboard is equipped with 5 Macro keys to the left of the "letter field" that can be programmed to quickly put together your favorite weapon equipment in, for example, Counter Strike. If you find RGB unnecessary, you can save some money by ordering the variant without Chroma, the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate (2016 QWERTY) has green backlight that can be switched on and off per key. There are also by the Chroma Configurator provides convenient presets that illuminate only essential keys in the color(s) of your choice for specific game genres such as FPS, MOBA, MMO and RTS. Razer Synapse allows you to experiment almost endlessly with color combinations and animations such as Wave, Ripple, Fire, Breathe, Cycle or Static. Of course, the premium feature of this keyboard is Razer Chroma.

The included wrist rest, which can be easily attached to the keyboard with magnets, is made of very solid material and feels very comfortable and offers enough support for your wrist(s) while typing or gaming. However, the noise from the switches can be disturbing to others in the same room. The green switches emit an audible clicking sound indicating that the keystroke has been registered, and pressing a key requires little effort. These type and sound wonderful, it just invites you to type! Also, the same keyboard is available with Razer Yellow and Orange switches (google for the difference). This variant has the Razer Green Mechanical Switches. The USB cable is durable and has a braided structure. I didn't expect the weight, but thanks to the extra weight, the keyboard stays nicely in place. There is quite a bit of weight to it, which is due to the high-quality materials used in the construction of this keyboard. This keyboard doesn't just look premium, it's the definition of it! I'll be honest, the price tag is a bit of a shock, but then you really have something!
Blackwidow chroma software#
Software is not quite nice to create your own profile for the LEDsĪfter about 5 to 6 years of enjoying my Razer Lycosa keyboard, it was time for an update. Thank you very much Coolblue employee in Groningen for taking the time for me and explaining a lot to me. Tested a total of 4 keyboards, where this one came out. Nice keyboard with nice switches, the wrist pad is also very nice and therefore your wrists are less bothered during long typing. The only thing that was a shame is that the LEDs weren't turned on in the store, but I can understand that. You don't have to order 4 keyboards first to test them and then send 3 back again, you can just go to the store, get a nice man or woman at the help desk / cash register who is happy to help you, even all the questions I asked he answered me and if he did not know he would gladly look it up for me. What I love about Coolblue, and I really mean this, all the shops are very close to your home (my Coolblue is in Groningen, 18 km from my house) and therefore it is easy to reach. I think it's a shame that this is an expensive investment, but for what you pay you get a very nice and good keyboard in return. Now I have this with this keyboard much less. And, if you were already far in the code, you should look it up again.
Blackwidow chroma code#
1 mistake in the code can already cause many errors. Much more convenient for productivity.īecause I create websites and manage servers, precision is very important.
Blackwidow chroma pro#
For example, because I also edit videos, I can put shortcuts from Adobe Premier Pro on the macros. You can create profiles in the software, and with each profile you can give them a different function. The only effect is that it goes through all colors in a kind of breath effect. The software for this keyboard has to be installed manually, but the nice thing is that the keyboard also lights up without the software. As a result, only 1 person has to make it and the rest can use it. Since I usually have to learn more than 300 words for my language courses at school, it's so nice that I can type it quickly and share it with the class. Thanks to this keyboard I have increased my typing speed from 56 words per minute to 98 words per minute and I am very happy with that, also because I write a lot for school it is nice that I have some time left, and that may sound like you have very little saves time, but actually it gives you a lot of time to do other things. I also find this very soothing, a bit strange. I really like the click that the keyboard gives, so I know whether I have pressed the key correctly or not. Since it already registers the click at a very high point, I don't have to worry about sentences being right. Because of this I sometimes missed a test and had to write the sentence again. Such a keyboard has no mechanical keys, so it actually requires a lot of force and you have to press the key far before it registers. I first had another keyboard, an analog/membrane keyboard. Bought this to boost my productivity and work speed.
